This is known as the heat pump and it is taking the world by storm when it comes to the heating and cooling of a home. Unlike the other units that are not all that great when it comes time for the cooling cycle to begin, the heat pumps are showing people a new method for cooling and heating their homes all the while they are saving money in the process. Rather than using the complicated and highly dangerous Freon based systems the heat pumps apply the same principles of heating that they do for the cooling and in turn they are able to maintain a higher level of efficient operation. They are both air conditioners and furnaces combined so you will save money in the long run, but the initial investment is the hardest part. They will generally run you about three to four times the amount that you would pay for one of the standard systems. The good thing is that they are the two standard systems all rolled into one unit. For this you will actually be saving money because of the fact that they will use the same amount of power and require only one installation. So instead of having to install two pieces of equipment you are getting them both installed for one money. This will save you a lot of time and in the end a lot of space that would have been taken up by the two units.
